Canvas Stretching

DeSola provides professional canvas stretching for original paintings, canvas prints, photography, giclée artwork, and other artwork supplied on loose or rolled canvas. Each piece is measured and stretched by hand over properly sized wooden stretcher bars to create an even, secure surface for display.

Correct canvas tension is important. A canvas stretched too loosely can wrinkle or sag, while excessive tension can place unnecessary stress on the material. We carefully position and secure the canvas to provide balanced tension across the artwork while keeping the image properly aligned.

Canvas can be prepared as a finished gallery wrap or stretched for placement inside a custom picture frame. The best option depends on the artwork, the available canvas around the image, and the finished appearance you prefer.
